What is a Credit Balance?
A credit balance is an amount of money stored on your WiseHosting account that will be automatically used to pay future invoices.
Credits can be gained by downgrading your server package or overpaying your invoices.
How to Check my Credit Balance?
Log in to your account on our Client Area to view your balance at the top right corner.
How Do I Earn Credits?
Downgrade Server Package or Options: Credits are added when you switch to a cheaper package or options.
Overpaid Invoices: Excess payments are converted into credits.
How to Use Credits With an Active PayPal subscription?
To fully pay your monthly or quarterly server invoice using credits, you must cancel your automatic PayPal subscription first - How to Cancel Your PayPal Subscription
Otherwise, PayPal Subscription will still automatically run on the set day and amount as it doesn't check invoice status.
When paying for server upgrades like extra Storage and Backups using Credits you don't have to cancel the PayPal subscription. The credits will be applied without affecting your PayPal billing.
