How to install a modpack?
First, we'll download the CurseForge App as this allows us to download various modpacks with one-click and have them all organized within the program.
Once you've installed the program on your computer, launch it and search for the modpack you'd like to install. For this tutorial, I'll be downloading the "Fabulously Optimized" modpack.
Once it's installed, head over to the "My Modpacks" tab and select the modpack you just installed.
Click on the "Play" to launch it on the Minecraft Launcher preinstalled.
Now launch Minecraft with that modpack selected and click on "Play".
As easy as that! You've installed a modpack with all the mods.

How to install a mod?
For this, we'll also be using the CurseForge App to manage our mod folders. If you haven't already, download the CurseForge App on your computer.
Once installed, select "Minecraft" and click on the "Create Custom Profile" button which can be found at the top next to the search bar.
From here you can choose the Minecraft Version, Game Type, and Modloader Version. I'll be going with the latest possible version at this time (1.20.4) and Fabric as the Game Type - the Modloader version changes automatically, so we do not need to touch that.
Once the profile has been created, open the mods folder.
In the mods folder, we can drag all the mods we want this profile to launch when we play Minecraft. For this tutorial, I'll be installing Sodium from Modrinth.
Once installed, move the mod into the mods folder that you opened previously.
Return to the CurseForge App and you should see 2 mods in the profile now.
Simply click on "Play" in the CurseForge App to open the Minecraft Launcher with the newly created profile.
