How to Turn Your Modpack to a Server Modpack

Turning a modpack into a server pack lets you play with your friends on your own server, which is way more fun than playing on a regular modpack. Turning a modpack into a server pack hasn’t been easier! In this guide, we’ll be going over how to turn your regular modpack into a server pack.

In this guide we will be using a software called ServerPackCreator which disables any client-side mods in the modpack for us, essentially transferring it into a server pack.

Installing ServerPackCreator

1. Install ServerPackCreator onto your PC.

2. Once installed, open the ServerPackCreator software, and change the Modpack Directory to the modpack’s file that you want to turn into a server pack.

3. Once selected, click on Generate to turn the modpack into a server pack.

4. Once generated, open the newly generated server pack file. After that, you can move the newly generated modpack files onto your server.

The number of files in a modpack can vary depending on its contents. For example, if your modpack includes resource packs, it will also contain a resourcepack folder.
